You will be immersed in the peaceful rhythm of village life, under the shade of a 200-year-old banyan tree and inside the ancient communal house – places that hold centuries of stories, customs, and memories. Here, you will listen to cultural tales, feel the breath of history, and sense the deep bond between the people and their homeland.

🗓️ Itinerary (4 hours – gentle biking or scooter option available)

🚗 08:30 / 14:30 – Hotel Pick-up

Our car will pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An Old Town or nearby beach area and transfer you to Cam Nam village. Choose between bicycle or scooter, depending on your preference.

09:00 / 15:00 – Organic Farming with a Local

Meet Mr. Hai, a third-generation farmer working on organic riverside land. Join him in planting crops like corn, peanuts, and cassava, while learning how deeply farming is woven into the rhythms of life here.

09:45 / 15:45 – Stories Under the Tree: Life, Land, and Philosophy

After farming, sit down under the shade with the farmer himself. Enjoy a meaningful conversation about his family, life philosophy, and the joys and hardships of rural living – while sharing the very produce he grows: boiled cassava, peanuts, and hot tea. Simple but rich in connection.

10:00 / 16:00 – Folk Music Heritage, in Your Hands

Meet the last traditional musician in the village. You’ll not only listen but also touch and play the folk instruments yourself, guided by the artist in his modest riverside home.
This is not a performance – it’s a shared, spiritual encounter with music of the past.

11:00 / 17:00 – The Old Banyan & Village Communal Space

Sit beneath a 200-year-old banyan tree next to the village’s traditional temple and riverside gathering space. This is one of the last remaining communal corners still alive with stories and rituals.
Let yourself be immersed in a timeless countryside scene, and capture your genuine feelings in a place filled with stillness and memory.

11:45 / 17:45 – Fishermen, Boats, and River Rhythms

At Cam Nam fishing village, you’ll touch a real fishing boat, hear stories of river life from the locals, and then be rowed in a bamboo basket boat by a fisherman.
Drift through nipa palm groves, listening to the gentle sound of the oar cutting through the water – an experience deeply rooted in this riverside community.

12:30 / 18:30 – Lunch or dinner with the Locals

Enjoy a warm, homemade meal prepared by the villagers – simple, fresh, and offered with sincerity from those you’ve just met.

Cancellation policy

• No charge if cancellation is made at least 3 days before the tour date.
• 30% charge if cancellation is made 2 days before departure.
• 100% charge for cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure.
